Full professor in Intelligent Robotics, Artificial Intelligence in Inventive Design, and Innovation Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Stelian Brad comes up with a background of more than 25 years in the software industry, as a product or project manager, CEO, innovation manager, entrepreneur and mentor.
Professor Stelian Brad holds a PhD in robotics and a PhD in economics. He is a PhD Supervisor with major topics of interest in intelligent robotics, AI in inventive design, AI in social systems, AI in industry, and innovation. He has published over 200 papers in journals and international conferences.
He is Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Robotics, Program Director of Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Production (MSc), Program Director of Robotics (BSc/MSc), President of ETRIA (The European TRIZ Association for Systematic Innovation), Head of the Digital Innovation Hub “DIH4Society” (European DIH), President Cluj IT Cluster.
